Hello and welcome to List-cember! My own version of a year end roundup series, where all the posts are lists. Since Christmas shopping is in full swing right now (at least for me) I thought this would be the perfect way to start!
Whether you’re looking for a gift for yourself, or for someone you love, here are the best things I bought this year:

1) Auto insurance & registration card holder
I saw this on a list geared towards keeping yourself organized, and I have to say, I much prefer the look of this to the gallon size Ziploc bag I was working with before. (find it here)
.
2) Stackable ice cube trays & bin
I bought these to accompany the *matcha journey* I took this year, and they were the perfect boost. As I tried to get better at homemaking a matcha latte, I was happy that at the very least I was always going to have adorable, delicious ice. (find them here)
.
3) Extendable shower, tub & tile scrubber
At some point during this year I decided that my shower simply wasn’t glistening, and as 30 something woman, I found that this was important to me. This handy tool is glistening product #1 of 2 on this list. It does a lot of the work for you, and it’s perfect for those hard-to-reach places. (find it here)
.
4) Third Love bras
I put these on my list a couple of years ago, but they’re back on here because they are still the best! I replaced a lot of my bras this year and had forgotten what it felt like to, you know, wear bras that aren’t old. I have never found a bra that fits me as well as a Third Love bra, so if you’re in the market for a new one, I’d highly recommend. (find them here)
.
5) New leggings from Old Navy
It was a bit of a year of replacements, as I also found that so many of the workout leggings I owned were wearing down. I kept waiting for them to simply quit, likely in the middle of a workout, or perhaps on a walk around my neighborhood, and I eventually decided it might just be better to avoid that all together. I got a few colors, including this one and this one, and have received compliments on them all! (find them here)

6) Flower shelf
I’ve been on a quest for more color in my apartment décor and this was a fun addition to my wall! (find it here)
.
7) This jean jacket
I am an avid jean jacket wearer, but my favorite jacket has been worn and washed so many times that one of the cuffs is getting frightening close to fraying off. So while I actively mourn the day that will happen, I bought a new one that can perhaps extend its life for a little longer. (find it here)
.
8) Wet & forget shower cleaner
Glistening supply #2!! Even after reading the reviews I thought, surely it can’t work that well and be that easy. But it does and it is, folks. And my shower? She glistens. (find it here)
.
9) Rare Beauty cream blush
After tiptoeing into the world of blush last year, I decided to try this often hyped product from Selena Gomez’s makeup brand and I LOVED it. I got the shade: Hope. I will say though, a little goes a long way. I bought the mini to see if I liked it and have not run out of product yet so…that might be a hack. (find it here)
.
10) This cozy embroidered sweatshirt
When looking for something to wear for Fourth of July weekend, I came across this sweater on Etsy. It’s always way too hot where I live to wear sweatshirts in July, but I bought it anyway and love the embroidery details. (find it here)

11) iPad
My big splurge on Prime Day was a refurbished iPad and I pretty much immediately fell in love with it. It’s such a fun tool, and one I didn’t think I’d use as much as I do. (find it here)
.
12) Oscillating fan
Speaking of Prime Day, I also got this oscillating fan and I think it saved me this summer. I don’t have a ceiling fan in my room so this was the perfect solution. It’s quiet and immediately cooled my room down. (find it here)
.
13) Brooks running shoes
I was in desperate need of new shoes, especially for indoor exercise like Jazzercise and walking on the treadmill, so I went to my local REI and tried these on and loved them instantly. I have the Ghost 16’s and they have been great. So comfy! (find them here)
.
14) Face roller
I don’t have an extensive skincare routine, as my sensitive skin only allows me to use about four products, but I’ve always been curious about these, especially in the mornings. Throughout the summer, pulling this guy out of the freezer to roll on my face felt like luxury, and I did notice a difference in the redness and puffiness of my face. (find it here)
.
15) Elf gift wrap cutter
I went full nerd when I saw an ad for this on social media and said, “now THESE are the inventions that we need.” I don’t know if that’s actually true, but I was elated, nonetheless. I look forward to wrapping my Christmas presents with this bad boy. (find it here)

16) Anrabess sleeveless romper
My sister showed up to a family event in loose fitting overalls, so naturally I immediately had to copy her and get my own pair. And these are just incredible. The perfect attire for a hot day or for a long car ride. They are so cozy and cute, I think I could be happy wearing just these for the rest of my life honestly. (find them here)
.
17) Mushroom night light
In the interest of lighting a path to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I bought this night light and it is SO cute! It turns on by itself as soon as it gets dark and I love it so much. (find it here)
.
18) New outlet covers
Looping back to adding more color to my apartment, I found these cute outlet covers on Etsy that are the perfect pop. 10/10 will be buying more colors. (find them here and here)
.
19) Electric candle lighter
I hadn’t known these existed until I did a search to replace my regular lighter. But these are rechargable (so less waste) and honestly just make me feel a little more powerful when I light my candles. (find it here)
.
20) Floating shelves
And finally, these floating shelves from Amazon. You may notice that I have been in a *redecorating* mood this year. I more or less copied the display example and love the dimension it gives my living room wall. Plus, I wanted more ways to display my books, which are otherwise tucked away in a cabinet.
