Ah yes, my favorite kind of year end post: one with things I can *add to cart.*
December is the most dangerous month for my credit card, so I apologize in advanced if you are as vulnerable as I am right now.
Here are the best things I bought this year:
1) Pieces Into Place

I would be remiss not to put this guy at the top of the list. It is something I’m very proud to have been a part of, and a story I think everyone could benefit from hearing. Pieces Into Place is available on Amazon, and soon to be available as an audiobook! (find it here)
.
2) Whalebone subscription

Admittedly, repetitive marketing on Instagram often works on me, and after being served approximately 75 ads about this magazine, I caved and bought a subscription. It’s worth it. (find it here)
.
3) Earrings

I very much needed an earring refresh and I found a handful of fun pairs. I love these from Old Navy, they are the perfect pop of color. I also got this hoop set from Stitch Fix and these from Target.
.
4) Olukai Sandals & Slippers

I didn’t actually *buy* these because they were a gift, but they are both fabulous and comfortable and worth your time, so I’m including them here. I don’t often splurge on sandals, so I spend most of the summer destroying my feet, but these feel like adult sandals and I had more than one person try to steal them. Also, the slippers, duh.
.
5) First Aid Beauty Moisturizer w/ SPF

After staying loyal to the same moisturizer for years I got the urge to make a change and I’m so glad I did. My skin has never been happier. (find it here)
.
6) Eclipse Cheek & Lip Stain

I also tip-toed into the blush game and this was the perfect companion. I got the shade audition. (find it here)
.
7) Elf Poreless Putty Primer

Just now realizing how brave I was in the makeup world this year! I also switched out my go-to primer for this drugstore brand and it works so much better. (find it here)
.
8) Fridge deodorizer

There was a really fun period at the end of the summer where I could not figure out why my refrigerator smelled off. After cleaning it from top to bottom I tried using baking soda and it wasn’t cutting it, so I bought this on Amazon and it worked like a charm. (find it here)
.
9) New Morning Mercies devotional

This is the perfect daily devotional that is both encouraging and convicting, and I like that it included Bible readings to go along with each message. I got the faux-leather bound version which I love, and I’m planning on looping back around and doing it again next year. (find it here)
.
10) Colorful fridge magnets

I love a good refrigerator magnet that tells a story, but I needed some small, powerful guys that could get the job done. These are super cute and colorful and don’t look bulky on the fridge. (find them here)
.
11) Window locks

I like to keep my windows open when it’s not too cold at night, but wanted an added layer of security, so I found these on Amazon. They are easy to install and adjust, and work perfectly. (find it here)
.
12) Leather hole punch

I lost my mind when I found out this existed because I am so picky about the way sandals fit my feet. Finally I can be neurotic and punch a hole in sandal straps that allows me to wear them entirely too tight. I love it. (find it here)
.
13) Green plaid shacket from Cracker Barrel

My family and I spent a long weekend in Arkansas at the end of the summer, so naturally we had breakfast at Cracker Barrel while we were there. The gift shop is already a death trap for your savings, but this was an absolute must to take home. (find it here)
.
14) Boxers

I will be sleeping in these until further notice, thank you. (find them here)
.
15) Enneagram Test

My mom, sister and I got really into the enneagram this year. My sister sent us the link to the test and we all dove in. It is such a cool look inside your personality and it gave me insight I might not have found elsewhere. We took the RHETI test, it costs $12 and is 144 questions, and gives you tons of cool information. (find it here)
.
16) The Road Back to You (Enneagram Book)

To go along with our test results we also each bought a copy of this book that dives into each personality type and looks at it through a Christian lens. I appreciated using the test and book in tandem, but you can use either/or, depending on how deep you want to go. (find it here)
.
17) Aunt & Uncle sweaters

To celebrate my sister having a baby in November, I bought my brother and I personalized sweatshirts from this Etsy shop to mark our start as aunt and uncle. This is now my new uniform and my entire personality, and I will not be making any apologies at this time. (find them here)
.
18) Sunski Sunglasses

There were multiple times throughout the year when I thought my vision was getting worse, only to discover that the reason I couldn’t see was because my sunglasses were so scratched. So on Black Friday I got myself a pair of Sunskis. I got the the Baia model and they are so comfortable and cute! (find them here)
.
19) Adidas Run Falcon 2.0

I do a lot of standing at work and the shoes I wore for most of the year reached a state that seemed more harmful than helpful for my feet, so I grabbed a pair of these. They are super comfortable and supportive, and I feel less like the arch of my foot is disappearing with each passing day. (find them here)
.
20) Magnetic Spice Racks

I live in an apartment with a relatively small kitchen and minimal cabinet space, so this was an exciting find for me. No longer do I have to lift up every single spice in the cabinet to find the one I’m looking for, no longer do I have to shove everything in to make it fit. These racks are super easy to install and they are strong! It comes with four shelves and all my spices (currently) fit on three. Love love love! (find them here)
.
Did you buy anything especially great this year? My wallet is both scared and curious to know.
